Prep and aftercare

How to get ready for either one

Before your appointment

  • Let the hair grow to about ¼ inch. That's roughly 2 to 3 weeks after your last shave.
  • Don't exfoliate the area for 24 hours before.
  • Keep the area out of the sun, and skip a hard workout right before your appointment.
  • If you're sensitive, skip caffeine and alcohol the day of.

After

For the rest of the day, skip heavy workouts, hot baths, and sun on the waxed area.

Results usually last three to six weeks, and most clients rebook every four to six weeks.
